TEMPLES

Temples consist of lead singer/guitarist James Edward Bagshaw, bassist Tom Warmsley, drummer Sam Toms and keyboardist Adam Smith. The Kettering band released their debut album Sun Structures on 10th February 2014, including the singles Shelter Song, Keep in the Dark, Colours to Life and Mezmerise. The four-piece have supported Interpol, Suede, The Vaccines and Kasabian and will play Coachella in April 2014.

WOODEN SHJIPS

Wooden Shjips (pronounced 'ships') is a space rock/psychedelic rock band from San Francisco, USA.
Their sound has been described as experimental, minimalist, drone rock, and "spacey psychedelic rock". They have been compared to Suicide, Loop, The Velvet Underground, The Doors, Soft Machine and Guru Guru. They are currently signed to Thrill Jockey records, whose artist roster also includes Tortoise, Future Islands, The Sea and Cake and Matmos.
Wooden Shjips guitarist Ripley Johnson also plays in a side project, Moon Duo, formed in 2009 with Sanae Yamada. They have so far released one EP (Killing Time, 2009 [Sacred Bones]) and three albums (Escape, 2010 [Woodsist]; Mazes, 2011 [Sacred Bones]; and Circles, 2012 [Sacred Bones]).
The group played the ATP New York 2010 music festival in Monticello, New York in September 2010 at the request of film director Jim Jarmusch. In November 2013 the group released their fourth LP, entitled Back to Land, on Thrill Jockey.
